Reading
Year 3 pupils will have two reading books. They will be given a banded book, and they will also choose a book from the school library.
Reading books will be changed every Monday.
We have made bookmarks so we know which child has brought their book back, please ensure the bookmark stays in your child’s book.
Please continue to log all home reading on Boom Read
In class this term, we are reading: The Pebble in my Pocket and Escape from Pompeii.
Summer 1
Spellings
The spellings for each week’s test will be uploaded to Ed Shed for the children to learn whilst playing the spelling games.
PE
Year 3 have PE on a Wednesday.
Please ensure that your child comes into school wearing their PE kit on this day.
The children also have a fitness and skills session on a Monday and complete the Daily Mile every lunchtime, therefore please ensure that they have suitable shoes and an outdoor coat.
