Reading
Year 3 pupils will have two reading books. They will be given a banded book, and they will also choose a book from the school library.
Reading books will be changed every Monday.
The children have bookmarks to be used with their school reading books, please ensure the bookmark stays in your child’s book.

Autumn 1
Spellings
Weekly spellings will be uploaded to Ed Shed for the children to via the spelling games, this will link to the spellings learnt in a weekly spelling lesson in school.
PE
Year 3 have PE on a Wednesday.
Please ensure that your child comes into school wearing their PE kit on this day.
The children also have a fitness and skills session on a Monday and complete the Daily Mile every lunchtime, therefore please ensure that they have suitable shoes and an outdoor coat.
