Reading
Reading books are changed on a Monday. All reading should be logged using the Go Read (Boom Reader) app.
Spellings
Spellings will be set as an assignment each week on Spelling Shed.

Curriculum
Reading
In class, we are reading ‘The Dark’ by Lemony Snicket.
Reading for Pleasure
Each year, we challenge the Year 2 children to read as many books as they can from our suggested book list.
Writing
In Year 2, we encourage the children to join their writing if they are ready.
Please see the cursive writing poster we use to practise letter formation.
