Reading Books

Reading books are changed on a Monday. All reading should be logged using the Boom Reader app.

Spellings will be set as an assignment each week on Spelling Shed.

In class we are reading, ‘How to Hide a Lion’ by Helen Stephens.

Each year, we challenge the Year 2 children to read as many books as they can from our suggested book list.

In Year 2, we encourage the children to join their writing if they are ready.

Please see the cursive writing poster we use to practise letter formation.

Homework Grid

Year 2 will have PE on a Wednesday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on this day.
